It all started with a fishtank.

I borrowed my sister’s camera and spent hours trying to capture the tiny, intricate details of coral, shrimp, and fish in my home aquarium. That obsession with small scale beauty led me down the path of macro photography and I never looked back.

A few years later, I began traveling for events and personal aquarium shoots in California, Chicago, all across Texas, and to world renowned reef facilities from Top Shelf Aquatics in Florida to Andrew Sandler’s massive 17,000 gallon reef tank at Polo Reef in New York. My work has been featured in podcasts, Q&As, product photography for reef brands, and published in Coral Magazine. I’ve always been drawn to the kind of detail most people miss.

When my daughter joined cheer, my focus expanded to sports photography. I quickly realized how much I enjoyed the fast paced intensity capturing emotion, movement, and story in a single frame.
